        Oh it is. The link is behind a paywall so I can’t read it, but the header image looked like squash with the glass walls. But on second glance you’re right it is pickleball.

          In padel you can play off the walls; there aren't walls in pickleball (at least the courts I've seen)

          According to Wikipedia, padel came out of Mexico in 1969, and pickleball from the US in 1965. Both with a very similar vibe though.
