    Well, this is a bummer. I was hoping this would blow over, but Silver's statements seem like the final nail in the coffin. I'm a bit surprised that nba.com hasn't been blocked (yet). Maybe that's a sign for hope. We'll see how that evolves over the next few days.

    ~24 hr edit: I've been checking China's NBA website, which is still up and running. Still no update on this story since Silver's second statement, and no information about televising games.

      I don't think it's a knee-jerk overreaction as much as it is China showing how much power they have over companies.
