I installed handguards on my motorcycle. Ended up buying a torque wrench, a hex bit socket set, and some loctite. Hardest part was getting the factory handlebar weights out. I tried to do it with an assortment of screwdrivers and tools before finally finding an instructional video that did it with a thin sheet of metal and a hammer. Once they were out, the rest of the install went pretty quickly. I haven't gotten the opportunity to go out for a ride and test them, part of me hoping that they divert some of the cold wind off my hands, and another part of me hoping that I will never have to test them for their true purpose of keeping the asphalt and road debris off my hands.

Later in the weekend I attended my first NHL game. I sat in the 4th row in a corner seat so I got to see up close and personal all the guys getting smooshed up against the glass. It was a ton of fun! I think I enjoy hockey games quite a bit more than other professional sports so far.

+1 on hand guards, but can I be nosey and ask how is asphalt even getting close to your hands?

Celebrated "Christmas"... A few family member were sick from covid toward the end of last year, so we delayed it a bit.

I finally finished a digital planner project I’d been working on since September. A little later than I would have liked, since it starts in January, but I’m happy with how it turned out!

It was a perfect 3 day weekend for outdoor sport!!! My partner and I did an overnight backpack on Friday/Saturday, I went mountain biking with a few friends on Sunday, and then recouped for the week in th garden on Monday. I dealt with quite a few injuries from early 2020 to mid 2021 and this is the first weekend I've felt back to 100% since then. Very grateful to live in a climate that allows me to engage the outdoors like this in January.
