Boy did we have an R&D implosion at our little company. We went from serious negotiations with some big players in our field on the back of promising development to realizing our model didn't function outside of it's small niche and starting from scratch. It's been a whirlwind of a week, like class 6, and I am so glad it is the weekend. I'm going to take the next few days to regroup and try to start Monday fresh.

Learned that a local supermarket chain called "Super King" is an international supermarket with a heavy middle-eastern influence, when I thought it was just Mexican (like El Super, Gigante, or North Gate). I managed to get tamarind (going to make some agua de tamarind this weekend), yerba mate (Cruz de Malta, a favorite brand of mine), and turkish coffee (powdery fine coffee with cardamom, cook it in a small pot with a process that comes just short of boiling it), as well as some normal basic stuff like quick oats. After that I hung out with my brother and his wife for a few hours, we tried the coffee, and ordered pizza.

Started the first sprint for my capstone class, which is largely about Scrum development. We're designing a website using Wix, which is easy, but difficult to coordinate across six people. I'm stressed out about it because I don't know what a graduate-level website is supposed to look like, aside from lots of dynamic stuff and strong use of databases. This is more about the development processes, as it's a business degree, so I'm not writing it from scratch.
