What did you do this week (and weekend)?

As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their week. Did you accomplish any goals? Suffer a failure? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!

Said our last goodbye to our 15 year old cat Hank.
    He was the most handsome.
Loved anything warm and expected to be catered to so he could be higher off the ground and still sunny.
    Defiant.
    I-fits-I-sits world champion.
Loved his 12 year younger brother even if he didn't like to admit it. I miss him yelling around the house because he couldn't find where he was sleeping and would continue to do so until you found his brother for him.
I miss him sitting on the bathroom counter, facing the mirror, staring at me until I'd wipe the condensation off so he could observe how gorgeous he was.
I miss him yelling at us for sleeping in past his 7:30am breakfast time.
I miss him yelling at us for not already being in bed at 10:30pm bedtime.
I miss him laying on my lap to use me for warmth and how it felt that he could increase his mass by the minute to make the effort necessary to get up impossible to achieve.
I miss him bringing his string from across the house to play.

    I miss him.

And I don't know how he, a runt-y 8lb cat, could leave a hole unimaginably large in my heart. I hurt, but at least he doesn't any longer.

That was a lovely tribute, and your last line was especially beautiful. RIP Hank. :(
