Came here to say the same thing. I get so down on cloudy days. I just haven't found my groove on the weekends. I just started a new job after being unemployed for a while. I need start making friends.

I'm sure there are plenty of friends to be made at your new work, I remember working overnights at a supermarket a few years ago and I made some very close friends simply because funnily enough stacking pickles all night wasn't the most riveting experience so we had lots of time to talk and have a laugh. Congrats on the new job though!
When you say groove, do you mean you don't enjoy your weekends or are you just bored?

Just saw a baseball game and hung out with some friends. Now I've got some work to do and hopefully get some Fortnite in if I don't screw around on here for too long haha.

Tweaking some home automation stuff and largely trying to get over a long-term cold I've been fighting. Otherwise, kind of trying to fight being down. Between all the Anthony Bourdain stuff,...

Otherwise, kind of trying to fight being down. Between all the Anthony Bourdain stuff, politics, and other things... I'm worn down. I feel like that's fairly weak but maybe part of that's the bug I'm fighting.
Either way, I'm ready for happier days.
In related news, I'd quit my job if I thought there was a more productive way of ensuring this country and world gives my kids a better shot at things. I'm tired of feeling like just another voice wishing things were different.
I'd like to say I had the same kind of day but instead I shall sit here and be envious of your productivity and general on-top-of-things attitude.

Day has been pretty good! Spent the day out with the boyfriend and we just went to the park and just walked and explored a little. It was fun!

Replaced a bunch of electrical outlets and light switches in the house I just bought. Spent a good 6hrs, still not done, but feel very productive.
