What are you doing this week?
This topic is part of a weekly series. It is meant to be a place for users to discuss their week.
If you have any plans, goals, accomplishments, or even failures, whether they be personal or work related, I'd love to hear about them. This is a place for casual discussion about your week, past, present, and future.
A list of all previous topics in this series can be found here.
So, what (or how) are you doing this week?
Salut! Je ne parle pas Français, but I know a few words haha.
Maybe I will start learning French again. There is no guarantee that what I said above is proper lol
Well, I know a little bit because in Canada you're, more often than not, forced into learning French for many years.
My only reasoning for learning it is to complete an incomplete chunk of knowledge in my head. But it's still in the maybe territory lol
Work: Trying to dig out from under some production schedule mismanagement. This probably won't be fun.
Play: Playing some Elite Dangerous - got back into it after a bit of a break, and enjoyed it a lot last night; I'd like to purchase a bigger ship.
Dad-related: playing Ticket To Ride - New York with my son again. He's 5, and he can't quite read the cards, but he makes a plan, sticks to it, and is an absolute joy to play with. I'd like to help him plan his routes better; he tends to recreate the routes from the last game he played (since he can't really figure out the route cards during the game, but strenuously objects to us helping him with them).\
Well, it's been a topsy-turvy week for me. I signed up to take the GRE this Friday so I'm cramming vocab and math into every free moment lol
Monday: Gym, homemade burritos with partner, cuddles.
Tuesday: Arrowverse Crossover Finale, Minecraft
Wednesday: Gym (hopefully), hangout with partner, likely cuddles.
Thursday: Watch some more Titans season 2 or Mandalorian.
Friday: Gym (hopefully), hangout with partner, spend the weekend if she doesn't travel to see one of her best friends who just moved back to their home town.
very anxiously waiting to start hearing back from graduate school admissions
I wish you luck!
