What did you do this week?

As part of a weekly series, these topics are a place for users to casually discuss the things they did — or didn't do — during their week. Did you accomplish any goals? Suffer a failure? Do nothing at all? Tell us about it!

I marked the end of my first week as President and CEO of the company I work at (and now own), so that was a good time.

Awesome! How long have you been with the company in total? Any big plans to overthrow the rest of the company?

Been here almost 4 years! I will be maintaining the status quo - last guy got to retire at 52 and I'm going to try to do the same, while floating all the boats around me.

Not at the moment... but if business continues like this, then we might be in 6 months or so.

My mother made a short(-s) for me, which I was not expecting at all, but am thankful/grateful for. (Also helps with taking stuff in that general field of stitching more seriously since I admittedly have always viewed stuff like that quite poorly.)

We also went eat some ice cream, because it is 35 degrees according to the imbued climate app/AccuWeather and I am on the verge of sweating even though I do very little when it comes to physical activity. The ice cream I ate was strawberry with strawberry... paste (I think).

They also made the questionnaire for the 'project of life' subject about my personal feelings/habits/characteristics I mentioned months ago here and (sarcastically) said woud be fun to answer virtual so I could answer from home. After describing nearly all my personal faults in the form of a test that asks you to rate yourself from 0-7 in a number of personal traits I was kinda thankful for being able to do this at home instead of the classroom :l

The heat has also made proper sleep difficult to get even if I put everything aside to sleep.

I started and finished a single page flyer-type website in two days for work. Client is hosting a virtual gala in December and it turned out really well. :)
