This is a big deal for the New York Times’ Tech Workers, but it’s also just a big deal for any and all future tech industry union efforts. The NLRB just ruled that the unit will be allowed to include engineers, designers, project managers, product managers, and data analysts, after the company attempted to argue that those groups should have to organize separately. Our mail-in voting starts at the end of the month!
