When I have contractors over to do some work, fix HVAC or repair some plumbing issue, I assume that they, like me, would prefer to be left alone to do their job and get out of here as quickly as possible. I don't want to gab with them and distract them from their work. It's interesting to me that this guy would take my quiet disregard in a negative manner.
