My phone started to play the same thing my computer was when playing YouTube

Oddly all off a sudden, while I was watching a video, my phone started to play the same sound as my PC speakers. It was kinda of cool, like my phone was a second speaker. But it did it automatically. Anyone else see this? I have access to YouTube music now so maybe that's a new feature or something?

edit: My device is Windows 10 PC using regular Chrome and Google Pixel XL (Android P)

This feels tech-supporty and not appropriate for this group IMO.

It's a group called tech I think it fits unless theirs a better one which I'm not sure what that would be.

I feel comments like these don't actually contribute anything unless you can name a better alternative? faced with a lack of options, beggars can't be choosers.

I've never had that happen to me but I would be pretty irritated if it did. I like my devices to operate independently unless I specifically ask them to do something.

I was just curious to see if anyone else saw the same, not really tech support, more like a general question if anyone else had the same experience recently. I've found weird things over the years, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a fluke again. (I found that google voice banner hidden in hangouts years ago before they were integrated, amongst other random stuff)

It would help if you included details about the operating systems of your devices. That would shed some light on the how.
