I had always thought that to likening it in my head to building a computer was... wishful thinking on my part I guess? Like I just want it to be that simple rather than it being the complicated symbiotic mechanical beast I've built it up to be.

I think people get a lot more overwhelmed by cars than they need to.

ding ding ding hit the nail on the head in my case.

GPU drivers are also incredibly complicated. Did you know that some game bugs get patched in the graphics driver rather than the game?! That's bonkers to me... but is a large reason for GPU drivers being hundreds of MB.

Went through forums and followed the one troubleshooting step, successfully.... Disable V-sync. It still boggles my mind every once in a while.

I think it was Batman Arkham Origins maybe?

I feel comments like these don't actually contribute anything unless you can name a better alternative? faced with a lack of options, beggars can't be choosers.

You should have subbed to /r/modsupport back on reddit then, some horror stories in there of persistent trolls... Kinda scary that some people would be so utterly consumed with petty rage.

I can't really chime in on the discussion myself however, I'd like to hear from you and anyone else how you got into modifying your cars?

Did you have previous experience/knowledge from being around mechanics? Did you just get stuck in one day and start repairing something you knew was off? What gave you the confidence to take this thing that you spent a good chunk of cash on and play with it like that?

    Thanks

Jesus christ, for a guy who collects Soviet art, is fascinated by the cold war and has spoken to great lengths about how dictators and other demagogues do what they do.... he sure seems to be...

Jordan, our “free speech warrior,” decided to launch a website that listed “postmodern neo-Marxist” professors and “corrupt” academic disciplines, warning students and their parents to avoid them. Those disciplines, postmodern or not, included women’s, ethnic and racial studies. Those “left-wing” professors were trying to “indoctrinate their students into a cult” and, worse, create “anarchical social revolutionaries.”

Jesus christ, for a guy who collects Soviet art, is fascinated by the cold war and has spoken to great lengths about how dictators and other demagogues do what they do.... he sure seems to be leading this somewhere!
