    And OpenCode people are taking it as maturely as possible, removing even the ability to use Anthropic's API, which is allowed.

    TL;DR there is no longer an officially supported path to use Claude in OpenCode, unless you use Anthropic's much more expensive API pricing.

      It is worth noting that Anthropic never did intend for their subscription to be used this way, and this was always a back door in. You were always meant to use token pricing. Of course, it’s obvious to see why (substantially cheaper, especially in the modern era of “shove as much text into the model as possible”).

    The same thing happened with https://github.com/charmbracelet/crush. Which is a bummer, because I enjoyed using Crush, it has a lot of "character", whereas Claude Code is pretty bland.
