I've written a small programming blog for over a decade and for the past five years I've been paying Ghost to host it. I like knowing that there's an obvious way in which Ghost is profiting from my blog, rather than having to be part of the crazy ride that is a tech company offering free services first, then figuring out how to monetize second.
Ok, I tried to read the whole thing but the calendar-format is exhausting. I assume it's mostly about them not paying writers enough and having no idea how to generate revenue in the first place?
