    It's infuriating to see ISPs continue to get away with bribing donating to politicians and restricting our internet access. The US falling so far behind the rest of the developed world needs to be a major issue in our next election cycle, we need to hold ISPs to account for the theft of taxpayer dollars through "subsidies" that mysteriously never result in any new infrastructure being built. CEOs who are complicit in this should be thrown in prison and forced to repay the government with interest. Think about how much we could expand municipal broadband with $400 billion.

        Fuck yeah, Hawaii's nowhere to be found! I just hope it stays that way. Public internet access would enable so many more people to have access to the internet and at better quality, and it's honestly crazy how many left-leaning states are on this list. Really wish people would follow local politics more :/
