Finally. This company has done so much annoying things. Nothing big or illegal but a lot of small annoying things. Horrible pricing, Lack of repair options, Questionable design choices (Rest in peace headphone jack) and the absolutely ridiculous Mac Pro Stand are just a few to mention. Apple has a huge potential to do great things but it looks like they just don't even try anymore.
From what I understand, the stand is amazing, just overpriced. And there are also cheaper stands available. Doesn’t necessarily chandler the conclusion, but colors it.

it's your average stand - but with a 1000 dollar price tag. There's no stand that is amazing enough to justify the price. Sure, there are cheaper stands available but that doesn't make Apple look...
