    Correcting for the excessively binary writing style, a better headline would be: Things that are sometimes claimed to use machine learning but might not be.

    Machine learning isn't normally a user-facing feature and you often can't tell whether it's being used. For example, Google Search does basically the same thing it used to do before they started using machine learning. As a consumer, "machine learning" appearing in advertising doesn't tell you whether the product is better.
