      The article is from May 24. Maybe it's a weird feature that lists the date of the article and not the post date? Or maybe Deimos posted it before, delisted it, and then revived it. But it's...

        I'm not sure what you mean. I did post this 12 days ago. @dodger left a comment 29 minutes ago, which will bump the post up if you're using "Activity" sort.

          Sorry for the confusion. I just saw AReluctantTilder's comment and accepted that there was a problem or unexpected behaviour and went from there. It being correct is of course the simplest...

    Uh... yea. Besides the obvious problem of not alerting the person supposed to take control, isn't the whole point of self driving cars the fact that they can make faster and more reliable...

    Uh... yea. Besides the obvious problem of not alerting the person supposed to take control, isn't the whole point of self driving cars the fact that they can make faster and more reliable decisions in emergency situations? Telling the driver "we're crashing in 3 seconds, do something" is not particularly helpful lol
