My library has evolved to include a hacker space with multiple types of VR setups and workshops on how to program them, laser cutters and CNC machines, 3D printers, electronics labs with the ability to make your own PCB coming soon, gaming stations, and so much more. It is one of the most popular places to go in my area.

I should at this point but they’ve had a buy one get one for the past few weeks (or something similar like $5 off) so as a college student who lives next to it, it’s too good a deal to pass up

I should clarify that it sucks because you can’t always control the plans of another person. But yes they are particularly responsible and should be held so

    I’m against this. Here’s why:

    1. no one should tell me I can’t eat in my office
    2. there appear to be some serious security concerns if Twitter has several guards in the lobbies
    3. the food is expensive and unless the companies pay for you to eat at restaurants, you are losing a massive benefit
    4. it takes longer to go get food from outside than it does to go to the cafeteria

Counterpoint on there’s no good reason for citizens to own semi automatic guns:

My dad used to own some land out in West Texas. There were wild hogs on it that would rip you to shreads. One bullet wouldn’t stop them. Or two. If we did not have semi automatic handguns, you could die or be seriously injured if attacked.

I think it would work better on a rep based system. Require say 500 rep for it to be changed and a few people who’ve been around for a while can change it or like 30 newer people

All of the tests that I know of are of small populations (relatively) with people in the area who don’t receive it. I feel that to achieve more accurate results, taking a small town and providing to every single person in it could be a more effective test.
