How can I unsubscribe from the politics tag?

I came to Tildes to get away from the endless political talk of reddit. Is there any way to unsubscribe from the political threads here? Most of them seem to be posted in ~misc, but there's other content there too.

Go here - https://tildes.net/settings/filters - add "politics" without quotes, save.

Speaking of... can we please get some more filtering features whenever you get some time to work on the site again, @Deimos? E.g. I really don't want to filter out all politics topics, but I do...

I really don't want to filter out all politics topics, but I do want to filter out any that have both usa.* AND politics specifically. Being able to filter out certain tags only in certain groups would also be nice too, so I can filter out downer in ~lgbt but not in other groups. And I suspect I might not be the only person holding off on setting up filters because of their current, overly broad nature.

More granular filtering is never a bad thing, my stay on reddit was extended several years with RES giving me the option to filter out nearly anything

I read somewhere here that there wouldn't be a -politics tag, but you can't (and shouldn't) ignore politics as it affects you, and it will just get posted elsewhere (like -misc). I understand not...

No thanks! I get enough politics in my daily life, I don't want to see more of it here.

Which is why it should have it's own tag.
