Move the "votes" string on your own posts?

Just a minor UI thing - other people's vote count/vote button is on the bottom of their posts, while yours is on top. Just a bit jarring going from one to the other, is there any reason your post's vote count can't be in the same place?

      I definitely agree that having the vote counts and button below the content of the comment (and way off to the side of the top-level posts!) is a good design decision, but having your own comment...

      I definitely agree that having the vote counts and button below the content of the comment (and way off to the side of the top-level posts!) is a good design decision, but having your own comment vote count be in bold text at the top of the comment does feel kind of jarring.

      Minimizing my own comment votes by placing them in the standard location and just graying out the vote button doesn't seem like it would be contrary to any design goals, the only problem I can think of is that it's one less way to quickly identify my own posts while scrolling down a thread. I think the sidebar is probably sufficient for that though.
