Does tildes have a mastodon group?

I'm curious about joining mastodon but I spent a while looking through the LGBTQ and developer sections and I don't really see a server that appeals to me. Do a lot of people here use it, any suggestions for getting started?

    There isn't anything currently, but I've vaguely thought about setting up a Tildes instance where everyone would automatically get the same username as they have on the site itself (and no separate registration).

    I'm not sure if I'll ever actually do it, but I think it's an interesting idea and could be a good way to still have some of the "lighter" conversations and content, but keep it a little separated.

      I would recommend Pleroma over Mastodon, as it's easier to maintain and upgrade. My primary instance, niu.moe, is an anime-themed instance that is managed pretty well by our operator, @ technowix....

        It's still just a vague idea that I haven't done anything to implement yet, but I think I would still like to do it at some point, yes.
