Possible Bug: Has anyone else had problems commenting or voting?

Tags: bug

this has happened twice.

Edit: Wow just happened again, when commenting or making a post once it overflows the text area the browser forgets all the information that you have written above. I wrote that this has happened twice, but now it's three times as it happened when I was writing this post. Voting has also sporadically been broken.

Every once in awhile the voting mechanism has a truly long delay or requires a complete refresh of the page.

Browsers: Firefox for Android, Firefox for Ubuntu.

Not from my side. Could possibly be poor network or some extension that is interfering with the XHR calls on the site...

I haven't seen this at all. I'm also using Firefox, but on Pop_OS!

Can you describe the problem in more detail? I’m on Safari on an iPad and have noticed that when I vote, there does appear to be a delay in showing the vote. It’s not terrible. Maybe 2-3 seconds, whereas on my laptop it’s instantaneous. I have seen voting on a topic get stuck once or twice. It highlights, then the highlight doesn’t go away. Is that similar to what you’ve seen? When I reload the page, the vote is counted, though.

Similar, especially the 'highlight' descriptor but on refresh it doesn't count the vote. I'm going to try to reproduce it and see what may be causing it.
