Suspect was arrested the same day. I normally don't post this sort of news here but this happened minutes away from where I live; I even saw the arrest when walking back home.
Nobody died or got injured. Video here. Warning: it's still fucking terrifying. The train stops maybe 1 meter away from the victim. I am in awe at both the engineering and the reaction times here, stopping a full subway train is not exactly an easy task.
I wonder how often this sort of thing happens. A woman in NY was pushed and killed today, and the CEO of MARTA took his own life with their own trains. So sad and scary.
