Huh. Never thought there would be a video on this, but I've thought about it a lot as I've been involved with RVs and graphic arts for decades. Our own 40' diesel pusher is a luxury coach from the 90s but the stripes on the side are three arrow straight lines in three shades. It bothered me that it made the coach look so dated that I've scoped out a new graphic design. But repainting or vinyl striping something that big is daunting to say the least. I'm glad to hear the swoops are fading away - I think I'll just hold on to my hope that by the time my coach hits 40, straight stripes will be cool again :)

I have personally always dug the oldschool orange/brown/tan stripes and zigzags on RVs (and in RV interiors) from the 70s. There is a crazy amount of nostalgia tied to those colors and patterns for me, so I'm hoping they one day make a comeback too. :P
