    This was very interesting to read, and concerning too. Autonomous vehicles aren't allowed in my country yet, so I wasn't aware of the problems they're having. Regulation may be necessary to...

    This was very interesting to read, and concerning too. Autonomous vehicles aren't allowed in my country yet, so I wasn't aware of the problems they're having.

    Regulation may be necessary to actually get something safe. I hope that regulation will also force these companies to come up with ways these vehicles can communicate their plans with other vehicles (including human driven ones) so things like sudden breaking can at least be shared down a line of traffic, to avoid that potential rear ending.
