Following up, I downloaded the app and signed up for Hulu on there only to be told there is no way to get Disney+ because it decided to bill me via Apple, and they don't offer this add-on service...

But I got a free month of service so I'm not going to bother with changing anything for the first month.

Does Disney Plus have lots of content over there? Cause around here the library is tiny compared to other services. I only use it because my friend created a profile for me.

It's kinda stuck in an odd spot in the States, where a lot of the mature stuff and Fox/FX properties are wrapped up in Hulu because of rights reasons with NBCUniversal and Paramount. Most places outside of the States, they have everything in Disney Plus, and mature stuff under the Star imprint on the platform, which seems where they're headed once the rights expire. Your local setup may vary.

This pricing is very aggressive. If you're already a Hulu subscriber, this makes Disney+ cheaper than even the pre-launch three year deal, which totaled out to $4.30 monthly. I subscribe to a lot of streaming services, usually opting for annual plans over monthly because annual is cheaper, and this is cheaper than every annual plan except for one. As far as big competitors, it's several dollars cheaper than Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, and HBO Max. Even my niche services can't compete with $3 monthly.

Yeah Star Plus is way better. With Futurama and Family Guy I'm set for a while.
