I didn't know that, awesome! NPH is the whole package, isn't he? You gotta value an actor that excels in pretty much anything. Drama, comedy, singing, dancing, whatever... he can handle whatever...

NPH was also Dr. Doogie Howser too, so two Doctors for the price of one! :P And yeah, he really is insanely talented, but he also does an absolute ton of charity work too. I'm a huge fan of his....

BTW, since it sounds like you haven't seen it yet, if you like musicals, superhero shows, and comedies, I highly recommend watching Dr. Horrible. The production quality isn't the greatest since it had a very very low budget due to it basically just being a side project made during the writer's strike, and it was also one of the very first internet distributed miniseries... but it's still really fun!
Oh yeah, I saw Doggie Houser premiere on TV, I know this guy since his previous life. I saw a bit of Dr. Horrible. I'm in doubt: is NPH incapable of doing something that is not awesome, or does...

I read a fair amount of Children's/YA fiction, and have enjoyed plenty of other adaptations in the same genre before. But the NPH show just didn't strike a chord with me, even though I really enjoyed the movie version with Jim Carrey. And I think that's probably mostly due to the show's child actors being much worse than in the movie, IMO.
I see. I can empathize. I personally don't have a high tolerance for things meant primarily for kids, even when they have dark/mature overtones. Pixar comes to mind. Even beloved shows like...

Even beloved shows like Adventure Time, or other shows made to function with both kids and adults, are difficult for me.
I think the main exception was Steven Universe, I watched a bunch but eventually stopped because 11 minute episodes are just tiresome, when I engage in a story I want at least 20 minutes of fun :P
Look away, look away.
Holy s* that's outstanding, it's getting hard not to get too hyped for that!
IKR? Doctor Who vs. Dr. Horrible!

It's a show for kids, right?

NPH's performance at the 2013 Tonys is one of the most impressive live-show anythings I've seen.
I hope hbomberguy does a video of this.
