Given that Seven was originally human and severed her connection to the Borg decades ago (both in-universe time and real world's), I'm not sure if I'd place her in a list for non-human characters.

I've always vaguely wondered if there is an in-universe explanation for the fact that most aliens are bipedal humanoids with funny coloured and/or lumpy heads?
I get that it's a TV show and there are certain practical limitations and that's fine, but I wondered if it was ever addressed in the show itself.
Looks like "The Chase" explains it. (though I prefer convergent evolution as an explanation over the common ancestor (default tetrapod) for the related theory-of-chicken-flavor)

It is baffling that the Borg went around the universe assimilating alien civilizations, but almost every Borg is a human white male in their 20s.
