Nivlak (edited )LinkI honestly have no intentions of having kids. I am 33 and my spouse is in her 30s also. far as I know, I would not do well with raising children. I am incredibly selfish and fickle. Not to mention...I honestly have no intentions of having kids. I am 33 and my spouse is in her 30s also. far as I know, I would not do well with raising children. I am incredibly selfish and fickle. Not to mention I am bordering the poverty line. It almost feels irresponsible to have children, knowing there is a chance I can’t afford them anyway. I don’t make any of these decisions lightly. But there are tons of children in foster care seeking a home. I think it’s better to adopt than to pump out children of ‘my own’.

People forget that George Washington set the precedent for a president having only two terms. Had he not...I completely agree. I would also like to see term limits for these folks. Same with SCOTUS. Had he not done that, we would have presidents in office until they died or were no longer fit to serve. “Career politician” was never supposed to be a thing.

I have never personally tried it but I have learned the gritty details through months of conversation with these users.

I spent lots of my time on Reddit and when I left finally in ~2017 I struggled to replace all the instant gratification that Reddit brought to my life, it was all “junk food” and I loved it. When I came to tildes, I hardly commented on anything because I could immediately tell the vibe here was completely different. I even posted a question to the site at the time about having novelty accounts on here and the general consensus was that they are not wanted or needed, it’s just more junk food, so to speak.
I eventually got into more reading, spending time outdoors riding my bicycle, going to community events and playing video games that were focused on RTS or puzzles, poker, etc. I still drop the occasional shit comment on here as a reflex from my Reddit days but nobody as chided me so far.
TLDR: There are no memes here, no porn, no low effort shit posts, nobody cares about karma or internet points of any kind. Be nice and be a good member of your community, online and in person.

Please tell me someone else is playing this game. It’s an instant classic. It’s so clean and the controls are tight. I thought 99 cars on a track would be ridiculous and it absolutely is but in a surprisingly good way. It feels fair so when you lose it’s cause you used your last boost before the finish line and got cremated 5 inches from the finish line, you noob.
