Slow Horses, season 2. British spy thriller and comedy. The protagonist after an epic fail in a training exercise gets relegated to a group of intelligence agent misfits called 'Slough House' who are considered by the sector to be a joke. They somehow end up on the case of a big crime. Gary Oldman is brilliant.
EDIT: Only six episodes per season! An easy, enjoyable watch.
Yeah so we just finished Manifest or what's available for now anyways. Kind of a guilty pleasure/zone out show for us. There's a LOT of bad things to say abut that show but I would like to highlight the acting/editing/score/dialog/plot as the main culprits. They could have made a LOSTish show but the talent/motivation from everybody involved just isn't there. But hey I'm watching so who am I to complain.
I’m just gonna rank every Marvel thing from this year. I’ll do both TV and Movies although this is the TV thread.
Thor and Thunder must be a bomb. Moon Knight is so bad!
Thor is a contender for worst MCU film period. Worse than The Dark World imo.
I haven’t seen all of these, but having seen 4 and 5 I’d have to switch them in position. The last minute rewrite of the Black Panther script hurt the movie a lot.
We're watching Resident Alien. It's a Syfy comedy about an extraterrestrial trying to pass as human in snowy Colorado.
I like it because that is how I feel in life. My partner likes it because she gets to see a funnier version of me. Every once in a while she'll look at me and say: "he's just like you!".
Yep.
I’m watching Doctor Who (2005), picking up at season eight where I left off after Matt Smith left the show. I’d forgotten how annoying I find Clara, haha. I do really like this Doctor though.
Capaldi is my favorite doctor. Clara is much better paired with him than she was with Smith.
You think? She treats Mr. Pink terribly, and that’s my main complaint.
