“Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last,” Sajak said in a statement Monday. “It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)”

I wonder how the transition to a new host will be? When Alex Trebek passed, it became apparent just how easy he made that job of Jeopardy host seem, when it really wasn't. There seems to be art in the way you give the answers, and some of the replacement candidates couldn't quite nail it down. I have a gut feeling that WoF would be much easier to host compared to Jeopardy, but I guess time will tell.

Almost certain his intention is for his daughter to take over from him - since she was added to the show. If it were up to me, they would pick Mayim and give Ken all of Jeopardy!

I'm certainly on board with that! Mayim is terrible at hosting.

Wow, I remember sitting on the floor at my Grandparents house watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and the Price is Right. This brings back memories. Now I'm going to go look up how long it's been...

I don't really watch them in recent years so I have no opinions on the new hosts for Jeopardy other than that as the hosts pass on or retire, it's the end of an era.
