Still, just want to say thanks for sharing these. It's opened me up to a lot more NZ comedians, after not really paying attention to NZ comedy for some time. I even ventured out to some comedy shows during the comedy festival over here. Guy Montgomery and Guy Williams were both great to see in person.

Personally, I think the Swedish Taskmaster (Bäst i test) is by far the weakest of the bunch... at least the first few seasons of it that I watched were. But TBH, they all kinda started out a bit weak, even the original UK one. It seems to take a while for everything and everyone to start gelling before they really get good.
And NP, glad to hear you discovered some good comedians from watching it! It's pretty cool that you got to see them live, too. :)

And sometimes what they got is crap. And it seems they show the episodes in order, so even the permanent contestants for that season aren't up to snuff in some episodes since they're still figuring out how to play.
The strength of the OG format is that every contestant has an "outfit" they wear throughout the season and they need to have 2 identical ones if one gets ruined accidentally. Then the production can construct the episodes from tasks that were funny/interesting and the "meh" -ones while editing, keeping the overall quality high.
What would you say is the best season? My wife and I are huge fans of the original and tried to watch the first episode of NZ and really struggled with it, but I've heard the other seasons are...

My favourite was season 2. Guy Montgomery and David Correos were particularly memorable contestants.
If you like Guy Montgomery, search for his spelling bee show, which just started season 2. It's /very/ hit or miss, but I find it funny.
The first season was decent, but forgettable. All the other seasons have 2-3 people who are consistently funny.
