    Upright - 7/10

    Season one - 8/10

    Season two - 6.5/10

Never watched an Aussie show before but seeing as Milly Alcock was the best part of House of the Dragon, I decided to give this show a try. The first season was really good, it had a great journey and great writing, some super touching moments I could relate to both main characters. The second season though was a big disappointment for me since I expected similar quality as the first. It was just too goofy. Way too much weird stuff happening, the story was just completely out there. This show was certainly a bit crazy in season one but season two took it to the next level and just went super weird with it. Still decent though but sad that it didn't live up to my expectations I had from season one.

this should have been a miniseries. S01 was just right for what it is. I hope we see more of her. She's good for drama and comedy.

After seeing @cfabbro topics on it every so often on the front page, I gave Taskmaster a go last week. It so good! I don't think I've ever watched a game show two episodes in a row so I had my reservations, but I couldn't find anything else to watch so I decided to give it a go. I'm so glad I did. I'm going to start the 4th season of the show tonight.

Thanks for the implicit recommendation, @cfabbro!

I quit watching at the end of season 1 at the fairy tale episode and never managed to get back into it. Looks like that episode is the lowest rated but looking back, I suppose nothing really grabbed my attention about the show in the first place. Too many Hollywood-looking actors, too many cheesy moments, etc., imo.

The first two seasons were great. This season has half of the episodes as comedy or experimental episodes, and they haven't been funny or landed.

What else do you (and cc @tomf) feel has become bad about it now in season 3?

And since it's extremely rare for me to get so many episodes into a show and then quit: what did you guys like about it in season 1 and 2?

I guess its good that they're trying stuff out... but they need to simply stick to the TNG / DS9 tone.

I do like the dude playing Kirk, though. Not sure I like him as Kirk, but I like him as an actor and character.

ok! this might be totally wrong, but it looks these four crossed over

                • Alex Kurtzman
                • Akiva Goldsman
                • Alan B. McElroy
                • Kirsten Beyer

burrrrrn them! My guess is that they're being forced to write for specific demographics... the sappy shit just came out of no where for SNW.

I recently finished Breaking Bad (2008). I've managed to watch bits and pieces of it over the years from my dad rewatching the show a thousand times so I had an idea of the overall story and most of the twists and turns. That being said, it was still nice filing in the remaining gaps of the parts of the show I didn't get to watch. I'll be honest, I did find season 5 a bit rushed but those last few episodes were still amazing. I think season 4 is definitely the best of the 5. I'll probably watch Better Call Saul next and El Camino but I might stagger them with some other shows in between.
