I'm really glad they released this, because it's hilarious. I'm also really glad they released this, because it shows just how powerful the edit is. 25 min down to 5.

From a few reports of people at the recording it sounds like even this was edited down, claims of it lasting up to an hour. Hopefully they'll still release a separate outtakes video for the rest...

Hopefully they'll still release a separate outtakes video for the rest of the episode. Imagine there will be some great moments from later on that didn't make the broadcast.
Another Taskmaster special: Taskmaster's new year treat 2026 - Episode 1 | Full episode I figured it was better to post as a comment here rather than submit yet another new Taskmaster topic ;)
That was a fun pair of episodes. Worked much better in two, as opposed to just 1 as they did until now. And I think the right person won, for as much as that's even relevant.

I never much cared for Jason Mantzoukas in anything I have seen him in. I can't really articulate why. Seeing him on Taskmaster really changed my mind on him, the high energy nonsense is great....

James Acaster brings the absolute maniac energy to everything he does. He is fantastic across the board.

It was a good prize task. Bad scoring, but that's part of the game I suppose.

Sam Campbell being delivered in a giant can of soup was not lost on me.

Only just got around to watching it, but you know it's bad / something really didn't work when the chat section didn't even make the outtakes.
