Travelers - Season 3
So season 3 got release by netfilx a few days ago, I've seen it and like it but kind of want to discuss so; anyone here watched it, thoughts?
Anyone not seen travelers (no idea why no double L), it's a pretty good time travel show with fresh take on AI. Don't want to spoil too much but I think it's worth the time to see.
I've seen the first two seasons, my gf is visiting and wants to catch up before we hit season 3 so we're partway through season 2 now. I like it, was excited to see Season 3 pop up on the top of my netflix recommendations.
Time travel and non-trope ai? Sounds like this needs to be in my watch list. Haven't heard of it before.
It's been on my watchlist for a while now. My only worry with it is that every time Eric McCormack is on screen trying to be a badass, I will end up seeing Will and not being able to take him seriously. :P
Na... I was worried about that too, but reading your comment I actually thought "Who's Will?" for a second.
Wasn't that the first or second episode of the 3rd season?
Yeah I think some scenes got cut that maybe should not have. I feel like Netflix kind of messed up the show, first by removing two episodes form 12 to 10 and then idk it's just speculation but it felt like the direction the whole thing took was just so they could start form a clean slate if they want a potential next season, and it did not really make sense from a story perspective.
My understanding was that the director decided that discovery was inevitable so cooperation was the new norm. But as a general thing the travellers seem to know very little about the big picture and why decisions get made.
