Hehe, yeah, that was my reaction when I found his channel a few months ago. AVGN is still making videos as well, it's pretty cool to see how both these guys have grown.
Channel Awesome is actually a very cool movie-review style channel now. I watch his videos when I just want to chill a bit. This one is especially good though and I especially liked the part about BoJack Horseman (which I recently posted about).
Yeah I was about to point that out... For me it's a combination of all that drama going off and the fact that I personally don't find the guy enjoyable. Back at university - hell yeah Nostalgia...

For me it's a combination of all that drama going off and the fact that I personally don't find the guy enjoyable. Back at university - hell yeah Nostalgia Critic and AVGN was my jam! But now as a thirty-something whose attitudes and tastes have evolved over the years I can't really sit and watch the two. It feels a bit like watching children's television.
But it's cool if someone else enjoys their work I suppose. There are far worse content creators on YouTube than the two.

Right?! He made me want to rewatch the series, such a great and heartwarming review of the series.
