Anyone catch Jeopardy! tonight?
Mike Richards, the executive producer, started his round as guest host. I liked him, not sure if more or less than Ken. My mom though he was a little too “game show-y”.

As a non American it's interesting to see how you folks care so much about a game show :)
This isn't "a" game show, this is Jeopardy. It's a trivia competition, basically. We watched it as a family when I was little, and getting to the point where I could start answering questions was a huge achievement, as was when I could actually compete with my parents.
Now we watch it with my kids, and my son just got his first correct answer in time about a week ago. We all sit down and shout answers when I visit my Mom.
It's about as wholesome as it gets for game shows in the US.
I haven't caught tonight's yet -- but I've really liked Jennings. I'd be happy to see him as the permanent host.
Mike Richards is very much a game show-y type, though. He hosted Beauty and the Geek a few years back and has that Roger Lodge cheesiness.
It'll still be nice to see some options. I think Couric will do well.
edit: this guy isn't too bad. Very game show-y --- but he seems good, especially for his first night.
I didn't think I was going to like Ken, and didn't like his first couple episodes. He seems to have relaxed and gotten into it, though, and he's grown on me quite a bit.
I know I'm probably not going to give the other guest hosts a fair chance, but I'm going to be very sad if Ken doesn't get the permanent job.
