Deception - What Did You Think

Now that the ABC TV show Deception has aired its season (and series) finale, I wonder if anyone caught this show and what they think of it. Do you think it had any potential?

For me, someone else suggested I seen it, so I watched it with very low expectations and it was good enough for me that I caught every one of the 13 episodes.

      Same boat here, never heard of it. Didn't even brush up against any hype / talk about it either. Either the show is meh to the general public or their media teams are non-existent or incompetent....

      Not OP, but the basic gist was that a famous stage magician ends up assisting the FBI, using his magician knowledge to trick criminals and see through criminal deceptions. If you ever saw Castle...

      Not OP, but the basic gist was that a famous stage magician ends up assisting the FBI, using his magician knowledge to trick criminals and see through criminal deceptions. If you ever saw Castle with Nathan Fillion, it was basically the same thing but with a magician instead of a mystery writer.

      I caught a few episodes and it was decent but it didn't seem like the magician-as-crimefighter was enough to sustain a whole series.
