I really like that they use lots of puppets and prosthetics on this show. I appreciate organic effects. They're high quality, made by Jim Henson Productions.

We got a spaceship, but not a traditional crew. Leadership and hierarchy are very fluid so far, and the ship seems way too big for them to manage it properly. It is super fun!

I watched this one over my brother's shoulder a few years ago. The practical effects were great, and frankly the CGI didn't feel bad for a show from '99. DS9 has the advantage of being built from TNG.

The CGI is really not a big deal. It's a good show.
