I always thought it was something slightly different, since I've seen Q thrown on the end of LGBT before as (what I assumed was) a catchall for everything else. OP is right when they said the word didn't exactly have a solid, definite meaning. It could really be used to describe pretty much anything encompassed by "not straight."

Would it be possible to allow the user to set the text size themselves? Like, split them up into categories (title text, timestamp, post/comment) and make a section in the settings where the user can customize it to their liking. This would allow people to determine for themselves what's more important (Someone doesn't care about the timestamp? They can make it tiny for themselves) but also keep what they care about to a comfortable size for them.

I have no experience in making websites so I have no idea if this is easy or even possible, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

Positive only tags seems like a good idea, but I worry that it still could be used improperly, maybe even in worse ways than negative tags. For example, a "Funny" tag might be good to sort out the humorous, but still quality, comments from serious ones. But then when someone shares a serious opinion and it gets that tag, it becomes negative. You'd have to be very careful to ensure that the tags can't be taken out of context if you're going down that route.

You're absolutely right about Catan being a 'gateway' board game. It's my go-to for friends who have never played anything more advanced than Monopoly. Simple enough to explain and set up quickly so you don't loose your audience before you even start, yet deep enough to show a glimpse of what the full potential of board games are.
