    I think they made a mistake going all in on GamePass. It destroyed their market, no one bought games waiting for them to hit the service.

    When Sony said that they didn’t see how GamePass could be profitable or sustainable lot of people laughed on the internet but I think they were right.

    I think the MS higher ups saw how much money ABK makes without a subscription model saw that as a better business.

    GamePass is either losing getting all games the day they get released or the price is going up by a lot.

    I also don’t think they will get out of the Hardware market like I seen some people saying, they still need a console as their entertainment box for the living room.

    That’s surprisingly not that much money a lot of the other countries I have seen proposed something like that usually require an income of over 100k

    To be eligible for the new status, applicants must have an annual income equivalent to 10 million yen ($68,000) or more, be a citizen of one of 50 countries and regions that have visa waiver agreements with Japan and have private health insurance.

    Self-employed people will be eligible for the new status only if they do business for overseas revenue. They will be allowed to bring family members who are covered by private health insurance.

    But I haven’t tested the mostedon or any of the other ones so I might be wrong.

    That said why not test it locally?, that way you don’t have to deal with the security issues of having those sites link to the internet.

    I doubt Apple would be willing to do this but it would be great is they took them up on that offer.

    Today, we’re taking that dedication to security and privacy even further.

    • If Apple doubts the security and privacy of our app, we’re willing to share the entire Beeper Mini codebase with a mutually agreed upon 3rd party security research firm.
    • If Apple insists, we would consider adding a pager emoji 📟️ to metadata on all messages sent via Beeper Mini. This would make it easy for Messages App to filter out any messages from Beeper Mini users.

    I doubt Apple would be willing to do this but it would be great is they took them up on that offer.

    The M1 handles 4K like it’s nothing, and the new M2 ones are apparently even better.

    A M1 Mac mini with some type of external storage. If budget is not a problem.(idk how much they cost in Europe) Other wise a NVIDIA shield is cheaper and still pretty good from what I have read,...

    Getting an old pc or server might be cheaper at the beginning but they use more power on average. Maybe you can find an arm base server but I haven’t seen many of those.
