Slay the Spire still challenges and delights, I play that at least once a week, and the Spire always wins.
Assassin's Creed Origins, slowly. I've been a fan of this franchise since the beginning, and really enjoy this one.

Comment on What did Google Reader offer back in the day? in ~tech
Clint Exactly! The application was nice, working across platforms and devices, all synced -- all now expected. It had virtually no monetization or ads built in, which is now no longer accepted. I agree...you share a story to a sort of "community feed"

I agree with many of the posters here, people who lament Reader are lamenting about how the web has changed. RSS itself had started trending toward ad/summary-to-click-through than full article, I don't know that it would've had a great life anyway. I personally think it would have been death by a thousand rss-feed-is-summary website conversions.
And regarding other readers, there a million, they're fine. I chose one. But my Reader network fragmented and that was that.

Comment on What are some interesting websites (tech related or not) that I can add to my endless rotation of Reddit, Tildes and Hacker News? in ~talk
Clint Lobste.rs is a great supplement/alternate to Hacker News, with a focus on software tech. Like tildes, they are small and growing slowly. It is currently excellent.Lobste.rs is a great supplement/alternate to Hacker News, with a focus on software tech. Like tildes, they are small and growing slowly. It is currently excellent.

. Emacs is my mothership, which lives in primary-dev tmux. Having said that, I assume that vi/vim is installed on every single host I use, and it's light and very fast, so I do common/quick operations in it and I love it for that.I also keep sublime text open on my local machine as a better notepad. I keep trying to learn IDEA and can't get productive.
The article is a time capsule of the disruption movement. I wasn't aware of this author, I clicked through to their twitter feed -- it's what you'd expect. The disruption movement is just fine and that's a stark contrast to the recent conviction of the CEO. That's an interesting contrast to me.
