I played the demo and never fully ventured out much from the “hub” room. I tried my best to explore without using the gas too much, as I figure I could get away with a lot in the beginning. Boy I was wrong as I got grabbed entering the first hallway after dropping into a room.

CodenameAnonymous Mostly trial and error, kind of gamer logic in a sense. If you’ve played enough games, UI is there to assist you. Penumbra is great and the change to remove weapons was something that felt out of place with Dark Descent, in comparison. Don’t get me wrong, I still loved it but I didn’t like that I couldn’t defend myself. I’m certainly excited for a return to form.. or rather an evolution of that formula.
The support they provide like this update is just icing on the cake.
