I’m pretty excited about this game. I’ve played all of frictional’s games except Machine for Pigs (I heard it wasn’t that great so I decided against it). Penumbra is great and the change to remove weapons was something that felt out of place with Dark Descent, in comparison. Don’t get me wrong, I still loved it but I didn’t like that I couldn’t defend myself. I’m certainly excited for a return to form.. or rather an evolution of that formula.

The support they provide like this update is just icing on the cake.

As much as I liked the Penumbra series, combat was easily the worst part of the game, so I was glad that Amnesia didn’t have any. It made the game as a whole more consistent.

This is how you keep games alive. Props to the devs for being friendly to the modding community and breathing live into their old games.
