I grew an accidental batch last year with 3 out of 10 having heat. They did have a chance to cross pollinate with serranos, though.

What have been your go-to art/craft supplies this year? - I picked up some Baohong watercolor blocks to practice on. It is good cotton paper, but I prefer the cold press texture on the Academy/student grade over the professional. Daniel Smith watercolors are my go to paints.
What have you tried for the very first time? - Gouache. The jelly-type gouache (Himi/Arrtx) was too thick and doesn't rewet easily. Tried some Holbein gouache and loved it. I plan to paint more with it this year.
Have you been pleasantly surprised by something? - how awesome my local-ish Blick store is. I live less than an hour away from their HQ in Illinois so I can pick through their returns and overstock at bargain prices. They have everything in stock that you would find online, too.
Has something disappointed you? - Arteza brand anything. I have tried their gouache, watercolor pencils, paper pads, and arcrylic paints. They would be fine if you just need some student grade supplies, but even their "expert" materials are mediocre at best.

I am a middle-aged woman living in Illinois/USA who recently changed careers to become a Biomedical Equipment Technician. I love problem solving, so fixing medical equipment has been a fun and rewarding job. And it pays a lot better than customer service. When I am not fixing ventilators, I play ukulele, garden, paint, and try to identify what all the wild mushrooms growing in my yard are and if they are edible.

If you are connecting with these symptoms, definitely seek out help from a professional. All these little tips - exercise, journalling, socializing with people, getting outside - help in the short term, but having someone with better perspective and knowledge helped me get to a better long term headspace.

There is a lot of apathy and numbness wired into my brain from an emotionally turbulent childhood, and it is hard to see that it is my own brain fog and not a reflection of reality. And sometimes I have to provide myself proof that change happens and things get better.
Do you journal? Are you pursuing any goals? What new skills or knowledge are you studying? Start documenting what you do. Record your progress (in video, picture, or written form) and look back every 3, 6, 12 months. I can only see my progress when I compare before and now side by side. I try to set reasonable, short term goals and can get easily side tracked, but I feel the change when I can pull up the proof that things are better. And it keeps me going. The change we make isn't huge and dramatic, but small, incremental, and impacts a closer circle of friends and strangers.

It isn't great for ethnic recipes, but for your standard North American dishes, it has great results. Most recently I made a batch of blondies for coworkers and those guys were talking about them for a week after.

"Triple the construction rate" is an odd point of comparison.
Billions of dollars go into the construction and maintenance of a single nuclear facility producing 55,000 megawatts of power DAILY. If it takes 20,000 solar panels to produce the same output, the cost to install, maintain, and replace those over a 100 years is probably still less in the long run. The biggest benefit of a nuclear power plant is the ability to adjust power output to meet demand. I would love to see if a field of 20,000 panels covers more area than a nuclear plant.
