VR is very difficult to get into, for example. Sometimes it's because they're just not good enough at the game and would prefer to watch someone play it better than them. Or it could be that they just want to see all the nooks and crannies explored. Maybe they just like the YouTuber / streamer. In any case, it's the same thing for all media.

Comment on Bohren & der Club of Gore - Destroying Angels (2011) in ~music
Infra Haha, no probs. I'd highly recommend their Sunset Mission and Black Earth albums. They're both absolutely fantastic, and give off that beautiful "depressing rainy city at night" vibe.Haha, no probs. I'd highly recommend their Sunset Mission and Black Earth albums. Wow. As a Rubyist, this intrigues the heck out of me. Interested parties might also want to take a look at Elixir which shares a fair amount of Rubyesque attributes such as duck typing, rich introspection, and a reasonably eloquent language. While not quite as idiomatic as Ruby in terms of sheer syntactic sugar, it compensates by possessing a back-end as powered by Erlang. In addition, interprocess / thread communication is represented by a psuedo-actor model, which for people like me (from a MUD development / heavy pub-sub paradigm background) it is fantastically interesting.
For an implementation of the same paradigm inside of Ruby, check out Celluloid.
