    After a few miserable experiences at overcrowded and overpriced Valentine's day dinner specials, my girlfriend and I made a pact: we will celebrate Valentine's day on a different day than everyone else. It is so so nice. This Saturday we're going out for a fun meal, and later this month we're going for an over-the-top fancy pants dinner at Vespertine.
