I got caught up on the My Hero Academia manga. It has taken the unfrotunate turn that many shonen manga take, where armies of superpowered beings fight each other. The manga has lost all of the subtleties it had, the side character arcs, the interesting dueling sequences. Now its all about unexpected powers found in desperate circumstances. I'm still interested in hat happens, but I do hope that the final third of this manga finds better footing.

I don't think this is an issue that needs to be argued about too much.

Humans are producing carbon emissions through all of our activities. This means we have to be thinking about adapting ALL of our activities, with the goal of lower carbon emissions in mind. This might seem insignificant, but every insignificant step brings us closer to the goal of significant change.

Everything big is made up of many small things. If we want to go through the massive changes necassary to stop us from making earth uninhabitable, we need to demand incremental change along with radical change.

I wonder if a lot of these are simply because the publisher wanted to save on a designer? It is such a shame that so many companies overlook the need for appropriate aesthetics for the sake of profit.

I find 15 years to be a very ambitious statement.

Just the amount of time and resources needed to build a sattelite such as this, not to mention the amount of money, is already prohibitive. Now top it all of with the problems that come with engineering in the vacuum of space, creating sustainable and liveable conditions, as well as finding people who would volunteer to travel there.

Now add the problems that you will face from the asteroids in the asteroid belt, the health issues that come with living in zero G and without the protection of Earth's magnetic field, and many others I don't know.

15 years just seems to be unrealistic.

I am playing Divinity II: Original Sin and I am loving it.

I have around 140 hours in the game at this point and I haven't finished the playthrough Isstareted at the start. I have been playing tactician mode, so it ocmplicates the battles and I have to try some over and over again to get them right. Plus, I am a bit of a completionist, so I am doing as many quests as I can, for as long as I can.

Although, I have had to take long breaks occasionally. It can get very exhausting to keep playing games like this, especially continuously. But I intend to finish it as soon as I can.

I wonder if the culture will eventually shift away from office spaces? I don't think it will ever happen quickly, but if a company that has a lot of realestate that could be repurposed, why wouldn't they? If people want to work from home and there are no productivity drops, this unused realestate could become an opportunity for alternative income!
Imageine: the company outsources the management of the property and simply reaps the revenues, it could provide the workers with some nice bonuses for working from.

Although this still encourages companies building out properties they don't really need. Maybe if there was some kind of a buyback program from the government that repurposes these spaces into cheap homes or repurposes them otherwise?

The article sort of misses the point, I think. Yes, it is very interesting that there were bees in a tech office because there was noone there for a long time; but the more interesting part of this discussion to me is whether the office is needed. After all, if the bees were this successful in this colony, while the humans didn't need the office to operate, maybe we should consider how much space we are occupying that we shouldn't be?
How much flora and fauna is being squeezed out of the environment simply because we are taking over environments that we might not need?

I mean, all of those tiny cogs, constant movement and the intricate designs. Watches have always been a high tech thing. Making them smart is only just the evolution of this high tech nature of watches. I just wish I didn't have to charge them.
