It's not a movie only a TV special but I always like to watch Puff The Magic Dragon. For me, it is high on the nostalgic feelies meter.

Simply register a domain (ex: oslypsis.com) at a domain registrar (godaddy, namecheap, enom). Host the new domain with a webhost (there are many to choose from and the registrars above will also provide the service). When signing up for hosting most if not all hosts also provide email. You will now be able to setup and email address using your domain (ex: joe@oslypsis.com).

When I was working on-air at a radio station in the 90s I played Christmas With the Devil by Spinal Tap. Once. I got called out on that the next day.

We have Lego sets all over the house because my kid got into building when she was around 10 and I pulled out my old 1970s Universal Building Sets. This led me to buying Lego at yard sales and stockpiling pieces. 20 or so odd tubs-full later and the kid at college I'm trying to decide what to do with all of the sets displayed. She built the Saturn V and it was knocked off the shelf. That was 5 years ago and I am going to rebuild this winter, I think. We have a table devoted to Hogwart's Castle and a shelf for London Bridge. I was given the Death Star 10 years ago and the Atari 2600 last year but we really have no room so they're still sealed. If you're going down this hole be sure you have room to devote.

The unrealistic list is a list of things I would never expect anyone to buy for me and would probably shudder if anyone did:

    Vinyl Cape Jawa
    NES Box
    Double Eclipse LP by Hardline
    PSVR2

    Realistic:
    Good running socks
    Running shorts
    multimeter
    Magnifying lamp
    green coffee beans

40 volt chainsaw? Is that realistic? No, probably not. I'll buy it myself.

I'd settle for free time to visit my kid at college.

Cornbread should not, and does not if properly made, contain sugar. It's terrible and an insult. If you're putting sugar in cornbread you're making corncake not cornbread.

I thought that itself was cringy. How about not even addressing it? It seemed they either felt their name was odd or someone else did and they just wanted to address it in a way that, to me, seems immature in the address alone. Just don't mention it. I think GoDaddy is a silly name but they don't seem to think it's silly enough to put it out that they don't care with a punctuation addressing.

It brings to mind that if I had an issue and asked what they felt might be a question they didn't want to help with I might just get ":'(" in reply.

Maybe immature unprofessionalism is a domain registrar thing. Remember those old godaddy commercials?

Note taking is pretty important in my job. I like to quickly type in notes for each job so I can back and refer to them if/when I return. I'm not great at note taking either and have to make myself do it and Keep helps because it's just simple. I don't want to tap through a bunch of menus to do what I want.

I don't find myself requiring many apps at all. Most things that have an app also have a web-based option and I just use that instead of installing another app. I'm pretty well integrated into the Google universe. All of the apps I use are preinstalled on vanilla Android. I use a Pixel.

Google Keep - I have used it since it began and keep notes on every job/client/network I tend to. I have found nothing that works as well.
    Google Voice -
Google Drive - For scanning every check I receive from a customer and scans of serial numbers of hardware and software keys for each client location.

I have been going over services for which I pay monthly in my business. I have 17 clients where I do unattended cloud backups as well as doing a backup that I hold onto myself. Overall I backup around 4TB of data. I'm looking at possibly changing cloud services as the one I currently use has progressively increased their fees. I understand the need to pay for a good, reliable service as it reflects upon myself , my business and the service I provide but feel there are more competitive companies out there.

None of this is for personal use and many cloud services are just that, personal use. These are all server (Windows and Linux) use cases.

Cakes are usually much moister than their non-vegan versions. And don't get me started on vegan doughnuts!

I had so many tomatoes that I for the first time in a very long time got tired of tomato sandwiches. The tomatoes are still blooming and usually do until around mid November. I have a plethora of reaper and scorpion peppers and I don't even like hot peppers. They are beautiful to grow so I like to keep them in the garden. I have cushaw squash coming in now and it's not soup season yet. I also have figs that will be ready soon so there's also those to look forward to.

Our oregano, rosemary and chives live through the winter so they're always in the giving mood. I plant a couple seeds of basil every year and get more than we can ever use. Basil on the pizza, basil in the pesto, basil in the sauces.

    My pesto is simple:

    basil
    olive oil
    lemon juice
    chives
    a handful of cashews
    salt and pepper
I'll throw some lemon balm in if I feel adventurous.

I don't use hard measurements so I just toss everything in and give it a whirl in the vitamix.
Toss that up with some of the other veggies in your garden, spread it on roasted tomatoes or just put it on some pasta.

The best (and cheapest) peanut butter I have found is Whole Foods 365. Just over 2 pounds of peanut butter for $4. Nothing but peanuts and salt with plenty of room to stir it up without making a mess.

I use an 8 quart Kitchenaid stand mixer. I can sub ingredients for different flavors as easily and make a much, much larger batch.

The bread maker method dries the seitan out considerably at least far more than I can tolerate and leaves you with a seitan that isn't as versatile. Boiling it is the way to go then bake/fry/whatever when using in a recipe.
